Dr. “Nick” Bergeron graduated from LSU Baton Rouge in 1998 with his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2003. As a resident, he began practicing Emergency Medicine in 2003 and completed his training through LSU at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Dr. Bergeron is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and has accumulated 13 years of experience in the Emergency Room post-residency. In 2011, he joined the Prime team and began his training in occupational medicine. He is now a full-time physician provider and the Chief Medical Officer of Prime Occupational Medicine with 14 years of occupational medicine experience. He is licensed in multiple states to include LA, TX and more. He is certified as a Medical Review Officer, OEUK Examiner, USCIS Civil Surgeon, Dive Examiner, and FMCSA Medical Examiner trained.
