Dr. “Nick” Bergeron graduated from LSU Baton Rouge in 1998 with his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2003. As a resident, he began practicing Emergency Medicine in 2003 and completed his training through LSU at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Dr. Bergeron is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and has accumulated 9 years of experience in the Emergency Room as a post resident. In 2011, he joined the Prime team and began his training in occupational medicine. He is now a full time physician provider and Regional Medical Director of Prime Occupational Medicine. He has been certified as a Medical Review Officer and an FMCSA Medical Examiner. Dr. Bergeron is also a designated USCIS civil surgeon.
